Why Privacta exists
There is a gap that widens every year: on one side, increasingly automated systems and AI entering every business process; on the other, data protection still managed with spreadsheets, scattered documents and deadlines tracked by hand. The faster data moves, the more that method shows its limits.
Privacta exists to close that gap. Not an archive where documents go to rest, but a shared workspace: DPOs, legal, IT and compliance work on the same data, AI takes care of the repetitive groundwork — detecting, pre-filling, drafting — and people keep control over every decision.
Who is behind it
Privacta is a product of Bitify, an Italian software engineering company specializing in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. The idea took shape from a group of engineers and from the concrete requests of legal and privacy partners: DPOs and consulting firms confronted daily with tools inadequate for the complexity of their work.
That ongoing exchange between the people who write the software and the people who practice compliance for a living is still how Privacta is designed today: every feature starts from a real problem, verified in the field — not from an abstract list of requirements.

Designed and built in Italy, on the Italian and European regulatory framework: GDPR and the AI Act are not an adaptation, they are the starting point.

The infrastructure is your choice. Even the AI models can run entirely within your perimeter.
AI assists, it does not decide
It automates what is repetitive and prepares the drafts. Validation and accountability always stay with people.
