How to create, manage and keep the Records of Processing under Art. 30 GDPR up to date.
Creating a new processing activity
From GDPR → Records click New processing activity. The guided procedure will ask you to fill in all the mandatory fields required by Art. 30.
Mandatory fields
- Name of the processing activity
- Purpose of the processing
- Categories of data subjects
- Categories of personal data
- Recipients or categories of recipients
- Transfers to third countries
- Retention periods
- Security measures in place
Legal basis fields are not mandatory for the Art. 30 records, but Privacta requires them to ensure complete documentation for accountability purposes.
