Configuring alerts
How to set up automatic notifications for GDPR deadlines.
Default warning thresholds
For each type of deadline Privacta sends automatic alerts 30, 15 and 7 days in advance. You can customize the thresholds from Settings → Notifications.
Deadline types monitored
- Periodic review of the Records of Processing
- Renewal of DPA contracts with vendors
- Updates to privacy notices
- Expiry of completed DPIAs
- Consent renewal (where subject to expiry)
Alerts arrive with the context needed to act: Privacta doesn’t just notify the deadline, it also tells you who needs to step in and what to do.
